Writing Great Reviews

Do This

  • • Be specific about what you liked
  • • Offer constructive suggestions for improvement
  • • Comment on production, mixing, songwriting, vocals
  • • Be encouraging while being honest
  • • Write at least 100 characters of thoughtful feedback
  • • Listen to the full track before reviewing

Avoid This

  • • Generic comments like "nice track" or "good job"
  • • Copy-pasting the same review to multiple tracks
  • • Being rude, dismissive, or unconstructive
  • • Reviewing without actually listening
  • • Using AI to generate reviews
  • • Personal attacks on the artist

Example of a Great Review:

"The intro really grabbed my attention with that synth melody. The drop at 1:20 hits hard, but I think the kick could punch through the mix a bit more - maybe try sidechaining the bass to it? The vocal chops in the bridge are creative. Overall solid production, I'd love to hear more variation in the second verse to keep the energy building."

Uploading Music

Only upload music you created or have rights to. This includes original compositions, remixes you have permission for, or collaborations where all parties agree.

Add context to get better feedback. Tell reviewers what you're looking for - is it the mix? The songwriting? A specific section? The more context you provide, the more useful feedback you'll receive.

Choose the right genre. This helps match your track with reviewers who appreciate your style of music.

When you receive a review, rate it based on how helpful it was:

Excellent

Reviewers earn bonus credits when they receive 4-5 star ratings, so your ratings help reward quality feedback!

Zero Tolerance Policy

The following will result in immediate account suspension:

  • • Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination
  • • Uploading copyrighted material you don't own
  • • Creating multiple accounts to abuse the credits system
  • • Spam or automated activity
  • • Sharing explicit or illegal content

Reporting Issues

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the flag button on reviews or messages. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
